Service

LED Lease puts your lighting needs front and center. You determine how much light you need, for how many hours, and at what color temperature, beam angle, and color rendering index. You also choose the shape and type of fixture and whether you will use occupancy and daylight sensors. You get efficient light at the lowest cost, without any hassle.

Our approach, in 7 steps
Step 1. Analysis
Together we analyze the quality and cost of your lighting. Your wishes and the prevailing standards (ISO/IEC etc.) are catalogued, as well as the current system's usage and maintenance costs.
The analysis will quickly reveal whether LED Lease can create improvements and/or cost savings for your organization. We consider usage hours, electricity tariffs, maintenance costs, and in case of existing systems, the current types of fixture.
Step 2. Light plan
Based on your wishes and the type of space, we design a light plan. Such a 3D simulation yields insights into the light distribution and intensity.
The simulation calculates illuminance values and shadows, taking account of technical specifications such as beam angles. A light plan is mainly useful for large-scale renovations and building projects in which the lighting structure is still undecided.
Step 3. Customized fixtures or existing models
Your lighting needs are front and center, not the products. We find the most suitable, affordable fixtures with the highest quality of components, maintaining our independence from manufacturers.
We buy technology and 'white label' components directly from the market leaders. Thus, we don't pay brand premiums and cut out intermediate traders. Ahead of our purchases, we organize a pilot project. It is a test of products' suitability for existing dimming systems and building management systems; it also allows your organization to assess the light quality.
Step 4. Light as a service, lease, or buy?
If you opt for a Light as a service (payperlux) contract or a lease, you don't invest at all. Your running costs can decrease by 15 to 40 percent immediately, while LED Lease remains responsible for your light.

The package includes new lamps, replacements and electricity. Alternatively, you may choose to invest in fixtures and electronics yourself. The guaranteed energy savings repay your investment.
Step 5. Installation
LED Lease takes care of installation, working with your installer or one of our partners. With far-reaching warranties we take responsibility for materials, electricity use and proper installation.

We instruct the installer on LED technology combined with occupancy and light sensors.
Step 6. Maintenance
LED Lease is responsible for your light. Throughout the contract or warranty, we take care of all maintenance. Materials and labor are included.

If your light is unsatisfactory, you call us at +31(0)20 - 330 6000. We repair the light at no cost. These terms can be up to 10 years long.
Step 7. Removal & recycling
LED technology is cleaner when in use, but LED Lease goes one step further: we remove and recycle the fixtures after use.
Our design and choice of light fixture is based on maximum lifetime. That is in your interest as well as ours. The products are designed such that raw materials - mainly aluminum - can be reused. We ensure that the LED driver (the electronics), the weakest link in current designs, can be replaced or repaired easily.

Our practical experience
LED Lease has experience in various areas. Our knowledge of lighting standards and requirements in various situations is now extensive.

Hospitals

Hospitals are always striving to improve the atmosphere for their patients and staff. Meanwhile, budget pressure and cost reduction are everyday issues.

In hospitals we use integrated LED 'downlights' and LED panels to emulate natural surroundings. We select products tested (by KEMA, Dekra, TÜV etc.) for minimum harmonic distortion of the electrical environment. Our approach has the following benefits:

  • Improved light
  • Energy savings of 40 to 70 percent
  • Immediate cost savings of 15 to 40 percent
  • Optimal and user-friendly systems
  • No risk: free replacement of defective lamps
