Questions and answers
Q1. Can the lamps also be bought?
A1. Yes. We will still offer you the manufacturers’ warranty, and we can offer a healthy discount (roughly 10%) due to our reduced financing expenses.
Q2. How does LED Lease manage to guarantee performance extended over a 5 year period?
A2. LED Lease sources directly from suppliers, and performs quality controls on behalf of its customers. This includes not only the certification and warranty documents, but also an assessment of documented lifetime expectancy based on the evaluation of heat dissipation and components used.
Q3. One or more lamps do not work or do not perform according to specifications, does the end user get other lamps?
A3. Yes, the end user will receive replacement lamps at no further costs.
Q4. Is it possible to lease lamps only for a 5 year period or can the end user also rent lamps for a shorter period?
A4. Led integrated fixtures and tubes can be leased for any period from 2 to 5 years. Other retrofit lamps can be rented from 18 months to 5 years. We will charge higher rent for shorter periods.
Q5. Is there a warranty beyond the 5 year period?
A5. No, we can offer a warranty of 5 years maximum. Although the expected lifetime is much longer, LED Lease is not able to assess the usage pattern by end end users.
Q6. The end user files for bankruptcy, who owns the lamps?
A6. Within the first 5 years the lamps are owned by LED Lease, and will be returned to LED Lease. After that, the lamps are owned by the end user.
Q7. LED Lease files for bankruptcy, what happens to the lamps?
A7. The existing contract will be honoured and rental conditions for the lamps will remain the same.
Q8. The end user is interested in other lamps than tube-lights. Does LED Lease offer a broader range of products?
A8. LED Lease is also offering a wide range of retrofit lamps such as E27 bulbs, MR16 spots, downlights AR111 reflector lamps, PAR16 spots, industrial high-bay and flat-bay lamps, and certain customized products.
Q9. Where is the ‘small print’?
A9. There is no small print.
