LED Lease is a Dutch company operating under Dutch law and compliant with Dutch
and European regulations. We have offices in Amsterdam and Penang (Malaysia), and
work with strong financial partners in the Netherlands and Asia.
Since its launch in 2009, LED Lease has focused on servicing the professional market.
Our clients are large-scale professional clients, such as hospitals, hotels, warehouses,
offices, and parking garages, as well as lighting professionals, who can retail
our services to their clients.
LED Lease has a Dutch management team of professional entrepreneurs with leadership
experience in an led light R&D and manufacturing organisation in Malaysia, as
well as M&A and consultancy experience in the financial services, leasing, and
outsourcing industries in Europe.

Gijs de Rooij – Managing Director

|
Gijs de Rooij is a successful entrepreneur and shareholder in multiple midsized
companies. He started his career with Philips Medical Systems in Hong Kong in 1997
and worked as a strategy consultant with Booz & Company in Europe and Asia for
five years. In 2004 he set up his first company in business consulting. In 2006,
he joined Levi9 Global Sourcing. As Director M&A, Gijs developed and executed
several business development strategies, created joined ventures and led the negotiations,
acquisition and integration of a major Eastern European IT firm. In 2009, Gijs led
Ledzworld Technologies in Malaysia. As CEO, he set up the organization and led the
company through its first growth stages into large-scale manufacturing operation
with sales in multiple countries.
Gijs holds a Masters degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen
and a MBA degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Bastiaan van der Giessen – Financial

Bas van der Giessen has an extensive background in business consulting and financial
strategy development. He started his career with Booz & Company in 1998 and
set up his own business consulting, financial advisory and financial management
company following his MBA in 2003. He led a range of projects in the financial services
and high-tech industries, among which a strategy development for a large international
car lease company, innovation projects in various high-tech industries, and an interim
financial directorship for a consumer goods producer.
Bas holds a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Utrecht, studied for
a year in Pennsylvania, USA, and holds an MBA degree from INSEAD in France.

Eline de Rooij – Marketing Director

|
Eline de Rooij has a background in marketing and employment branding. She started
her career with Booz & Company in 2003, where she managed the recruitment and
employment branding team. She launched multiple advertising campaigns and organized
international branding and recruiting events. In 2009 Eline joined Ledzworld Technologies
in Malaysia as its marketing executive and business developer. Working closely with
the commercial director, she coordinated marketing and promotional activities and
executed business development initiatives for the European lighting market.
Eline holds a Masters degree in American Studies and studied for a year in Wisconsin,
USA, and for eight months in Madrid, Spain.

David Mozes – Sales Director

David Mozes has a background in investment banking, venture capital and private
equity. He started his career as a financial analyst, and worked on several valuations
of non-listed companies. He was then involved in new product development projects
for a venture capital firm. At his last employer, investment bank Kempen & Co.,
he was head of equity sales Scandinavia. As such, he developed a network of institutional
clients for equity investing in the Benelux.
David holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Groningen and studied
a year in Salamanca, Spain.

Nian Joe Lee – Director Asia

Nian Joe Lee has a background in mechanical and machining business, and was the
business development manager of an IT business specializing in data-collection and
reporting before joining P-Plus. In 2002 he joined P-Plus, partner of LED Lease
Asia, as a quality assurance engineer, and a year later was promoted manufacturing
manager. Joe is currently managing director of P-Plus, overseeing its complete operations
and business development. He heads P-Plus group of companies, which includes P-Plus
Pte Ltd, CIG Lights Pte Ltd, Glights Sdn Bhd., P-Plus Sdn Bhd.
Joe is a graduate of Iowa State University, with a degree in Industrial Engineering
with a Minor in Economics.
